As minus temperatures hit, the ground is hard and the snow has fallen. In this context 12 hours without electricity and heat is a major issue for even the most healthy.
As I write the sun sets over Ukraine with a temperature of -5.
We praise God for:
- The release of our ACTION brother from prison.
- For provision of help to those most in need, and the positive impact this has had on the continued declaration and preaching of the gospel and discipling of new disciples.
We pray for:
- Those grieving, the families of those who lived for Christ and died proclaiming him. We pray also for their legacy and the many ripples of eternal fruitfulness which come from their faithfulness and obedience to Christ.
We pray for :
- Those who minister to those with disabilities, and the transport of those to places where heat (oil, gas, wood, fuel), water and electricity, internet/ communications are so critical for health.
- Those who work (and live) in hospitals under this pressure who know Christ and minister in his name for extensive periods.
- Those who preach the gospel every day through word and deed to hearts so ready to listen.
- Our part in prayer, and helping strengthen the arms of those who live for Christ and whose legacy is an everlasting one.
ACTS 17:26-28
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us...
